What You Don’t Like (But I Do)
Riga, Latvia
“What You Don’t Like (But I Do)” is a deeply personal photographic series exploring body image, vulnerability, and the quiet courage it takes to be seen. Through intimate portraits, the project highlights the features people often try to hide and reframes them as something worthy of attention, softness, and even admiration. It is not about “fixing” insecurities, but about changing the way we look at them.
The exhibition in Riga became more than a visual experience — it turned into a space for reflection, conversation, and connection. Visitors didn’t just observe the works; they saw parts of themselves in them.
The opening was filled with emotion, openness, and an unexpected sense of unity. People shared their stories, recognized their own insecurities in others, and, for a moment, felt less alone in them. This project continues to grow as a reminder: what we are taught to dislike about ourselves might be exactly what makes us human.
